Properties and applications of D-rings:

D-rings define a point of attachment and structure in leather goods. They take on the load of the strap and guide it in a controlled direction, helping to stabilize the form of a bag, backpack, or shoulder strap.

Their characteristic shape allows the strap to lay flat and move predictably, without twisting or unnecessary tension. D-rings make it possible to build a product consciously, wherever durability, control, and clear functionality are required.
